with the cross off wind it was gonna be gusty, but with the dropping tide perfect sets of head high & a little more coming in it looked good, we were very rairly planning untill out the back, but the rides back in were awesome,, bobbing about waiting for the biggest of the sets, with the wind holding them up 3 poroper bottom & top turns were possible most runs, some runs in when it was gusting it was tricky with way too much power but in the lulls it was perfect, dropping in, bouncing over white water, sending up spray, it was all ace, proper dtl wave riding.Stu & i were the only one's out, we even shared a wave in both bottom & top turning :) staying upwind was strangely easy, must have been the rips or summut.
Today rocked.....one of the best....
Got off for a break after nearly 3 hrs,gave it another go but neither of had any energy left so was forced to call it a day.
